JEDDAH 11 November 2019 – The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah, led by Acting Consul General Mary Jennifer D. Dingal together with the Filipino Community in Jeddah, graced the opening of the 2019 Pinoy Fiesta at LuLu Hypermarket in Fawaz on 20 October 2019.
Through LuLu Hypermarket, Filipinos were offered the best products and the finest ingredients they need to cook their old-time favorite recipes and dishes. The Pinoy Fiesta has brought the Philippines closer to the hearts and homes of Filipinos in Jeddah.
“Filipinos love to eat, and since they are naturally hospitable and generous, food plays an important part of their social life,” Consul Dingal said in expressing her appreciation to the management of LuLu Hypermarket for organizing the 2019 Pinoy Fiesta.
The week-long 2019 Pinoy Fiesta showcased a wide variety of Filipino food products ranging from fresh fruits, snacks, meat products, seafood, breads, cakes, sweets, pastries, beverages, and traditional Filipino dishes. END
