Likhang Pilipino Series Features Filipino Designers

 The Philippine Consulate General in Milan on 16 September 2019 opens the exhibit entitled: Likhang Pilipino, showcasing Milan-based Filipino designers at the Galleria Fillipina.

 The exhibit featured works of the members of newly-formed Filipino Designers' Guild in Milan, which includes Joyce Gacad, Grandy Ramilo, Aresteo Landicho , Llionel Christian Lanuzo, and Kim Carandang.

 Consul General Irene Susan B. Nativida (in red blazer), in her welcome remarks, said that the exhibit not only affirms the ingenuity and innate creativity of Filipinos, but will also teach and inspire aspiring Filipinos. She stressed that the Likhang Pilipino series of the Consulate seek to provide a space and platform for Filipino artists in Milan to showcase their work with the hope that it would give them a springboard for bigger exposure into the competitive world of fashion designing.
