PH Embassy in Athens Returns to Rhodes For Consular Outreach

ATHENS 04 November 2019 – The Philippine Embassy in Athens returned to Rhodes to conduct a consular outreach mission on 27 October 2019.
The team processed 28 passport renewal applications, three affidavits, one Republic Act 9225 application, one notarial act (oath taking), nine verifications of work contracts, and 40 renewals of OWWA membership.
The Embassy’s consular outreach team was led by Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Rosario P. Lemque and includes Labor Attaché Melchor B. Dizon and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Administrative Assistant Gemma G. Dio.
The mission was successfully conducted with the support and cooperation of the Philippine Honorary Consul in Rhodes Mr. Michalis J. Roditis, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), and the Filipino community in Rhodes.
The consular outreach mission was capped by a meeting between Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Lemque, Labor Attaché Dizon, OWWA Administrative Assistant Dio, and the Filipino community in Rhodes. END
