Asian Institute of Management Delegation Calls On PH Consulate General in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO 20 November 2019 — A delegation from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) paid a courtesy call on representatives from the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco on 17 October 2019.

The delegation, comprised of 13 students from various backgrounds enrolled in AIM’s Master in Business Administration (MBA) and Master in Development Management (MDM) programs, was headed by Professor Matthew George O. Escobido. Of the 13 students, 10 were Filipino and three were foreign students from Fiji, Korea, and Nepal,

The delegation was in San Francisco for a Study Tour of Silicon Valley, in which they visited tech companies to learn more about their operations and management. The group visited Facebook, Plug & Play, HP, and Google as part of their tour.

They also participated in the Launch of Spark 447, a co-working space for Filipino and Filipino-American startups wherein they interacted with the Filipino-American tech community, entrepreneurs, and investors. END
