PH Consulate General in Agana Undertakes Annual Consular Outreach Mission to Majuro
A team from the Philippine Consulate General in Agana (Guam) provides consular services to Filipinos in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The annual consular outreach mission for 2019 was held at the Kibedrikdrik Conference Room at the Robert Reimers Hotel in Majuro from 26-28 October 2019. AGANA 26 NOVEMBER 2019 – The Philippine Consulate General in Agana visited Majuro Atoll in the Republic of the Marshall Islands where they rendered consular services for Filipinos living and working there. Consul Mark Francis C. Hamoy led the annual consular outreach mission at the Robert Reimers Hotel in Majuro.
A total of 152 consular transactions were completed by the team, 140 of which were e-Passport renewals, six petitions for reacquisition/retention of Filipino citizenship, one report of birth, and five legalization services.
The mission was assisted by Consul Alexander Z. Piñano and the Filipino Association of the Marshall Islands (FAMI) led by their president, Ms. Aimee Timon.
The Philippine Consulate General in Agana reminds all Filipinos living and working within its consular jurisdiction in the Western Pacific to ensure that their e-Passports have sufficient validity at least equivalent to or longer than the authorized period of stay issued by the relevant government agencies in their place of work of residence. The next consular mission to the Marshall Islands will be in 2020. A tentative schedule will be posted on the Consulate General's social media accounts once it has been prepared. END
