PH Embassy in Ankara Meets with Leading, Influential Business Group in Turkey

ANKARA 28 November 2019 – Philippine Ambassador to Turkey Raul S. Hernandez met with the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) Board Member and International Relations and Foreign Trade Commission President Mr. Zeki Güvercin on 11 November 2019 to discuss the need of forging closer trade and investment linkages between the Philippines and Turkey.
MUSIAD has agreed to hold a Philippine Country Meeting, a one-day seminar presenting business opportunities and investment climate in the Philippines. MUSIAD also expressed its interest in signing an agreement with a business group in the Philippines as basis for closer partnership to push for stronger economic cooperation.
MUSIAD is one of the leading and influential business groups in Turkey with more than 11,000 members representing close to 60,000 businesses that employ around 1.6 million people. MUSIAD has 86 representative offices across Turkey and is active in 92 countries abroad. END
