PH Embassy in the Hague Participates in Fundraising Bowling Tournament

THE HAGUE 28 November 2019 — Philippine Ambassador to the Hague Jaime Victor B. Ledda, together with officers and staff of the embassy and their families, participated and supported the second University of the Philippines Alumni Association-The Netherlands Chapter (UPAA-NL) bowling tournament at the Bowling Scheveningen, The Hague on 09 November 2019. The tournament was organized by the UPAA-NL for the benefit of the University of the Philippines Los Baños Rural High School’s physics laboratory. 

In his remarks, Philippine Ambassador to the Hague Jaime Victor B. Ledda thanked the association for the opportunity to engage the Philippine Embassy in the Hague in the sport and physical activity, underscoring social and cultural openness between communities as a necessary element in solidifying relations.

Philippine Ambassador to the Hague Jaime Victor B. Ledda also reiterated that the Embassy’s participation in community events was part of the initiatives undertaken by the Embassy to support the fundraising projects of various Filipino associations. 

The Philippine Embassy in the Hague team engaged in a friendly competition during the first squad of the tournament.  The Embassy’s team was representated by Eliso B. Rivera, Elias J. Balawag, Anacleto T. Diego Jr., Jasper S. Revilla and Elea V. Perez; the team was awarded best in costume. END
