PH Embassy in Rome, Malta Police Orient Filipinos on Human Trafficking

Since January 2018, there has been a 60% increase of Malta-based Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), which currently number over 4,000.
Police Inspector John Spiteri also provides the Filipinos some tips to avoid being implicated in human trafficking offenses, including contacting Maltese local authorities Department of Information and Employment Regulation, Malta Police, Identity Malta and Jobs Plus Malta in case of suspicious activities and keeping copies of every document that they sign.
