Consul General of Pakistan Meets with PH Consul General in Jeddah

JEDDAH 03 December 2019 – The new Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Jeddah to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Khalid Majid called on Consul General Edgar Badajos on 06 November 2019.
During their meeting, Consul General Badajos and Consul General Majid exchanged views on matters of common concern, including consular services provided to their respective nationals. Consul General Majid informed that their Consulate in Jeddah processes the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis, which is a registration document issued to eligible citizens of Pakistan who live abroad.
Consul General Majid added that the Pakistani National ID is a project of the National Database and Registration Authority, an attached department of the Pakistani Ministry of Interior.
According to Consul General Khalid, there are an estimated 1.8 million Pakistani in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia.
Consul General Badajos is the current Chair of the Asian Consuls General Group in Jeddah. END
