03 April 2014 - The Honolulu Chinatown Lions Club invited the Philippine Consulate General to attend its general membership meeting on March 27 and speak about the introduction of Philippine business into Hawaii. Many of the Lions Club members are established entrepreneurs in Hawaii.
Two elderly Lions Club members belt out the “Hawai’i Pono’i” Hawaii State song with their harmonicas to signal the end of the meeting. The Honolulu Chinatown Lions Club was established in 1973. The meeting was held at the Empress Restaurant in Chinatown. END
