PH Embassy in Paris Conducts Consular Outreach in Nice

PARIS 05 December 2019 –– As part of the continuing commitment to bring consular services to kababayans in different parts of France, the Philippine Embassy in Paris conducted an outreach mission in Nice where more than 300 Filipinos were served on 23 to 24 November 2019.

The Embassy made use of the online appointment system to ensure that all passport renewal applicants with confirmed appointments and preprocessed documents and clearance were accommodated at the exact time. Other applicants for consular services such as notarials, dual citizenship applications, civil registry applications, community cards, NBI clearance, and certificate of residency for tax exemption also had approved online appointments, although walk-in applicants for such services were also accommodated.

Other Philippine government agencies such as the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) – Madrid and Social Security System (SSS) – Milan also joined the Embassy in bringing consular services to the kababayans residing in the south of France.

Labor Attaché Joanne Lourdes Lavilla and Welfare Officer Maria Corazon Sangco from POLO-Madrid attended to about a hundred Filipinos. An equal number of Filipinos were also provided SSS services by Ms. Mary Jessielyn Sia, SSS representative from Milan. Ms. Nelia Camo, from the collecting partner of SSS and Pag-IBIG was also present to assist. END
