PH Embassy in Berlin Conducts 2nd Outreach Mission to Hamburg

BERLIN 13 December 2019 — In response to the requests from the Filipino-Germany Community after the first outreach in July, the Philippine Embassy in Berlin conducted a second consular outreach mission at the Kleiner Michel Parish Hall in Hamburg on 23 November 2019.

During the course of the one-day outreach mission headed by Philippine Ambassador to Germany Ma. Theresa B. Dizon-De Vega, the team provided services for nearly 60 clients and conducted counseling and consultation sessions on a range of issues from property disposition in the Philippines, citizenship re-acquistion, and Philippine succession laws.

Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) representative Welfare Officer Sylvia Gabriel likewise conducted counseling sessions and promoted Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) membership among the clients.

The outreach mission was made possible through the assistance of the Kleiner Michel Parish and Fr. Simon Boisier and the Federation of Filipino Organizations in Northern Germany (FFONG) e.V. The new set of FFONG officers were inducted into office on 23 November 2019 by Ambassador De Vega. END
