PH Consulate General in Houston Attends the Outstanding Filipino-Americans of San Antonio Awards Night

HOUSTON 13 December 2019 –– The Philippine Consulate General in Houston attended the Awards Night for The Outstanding Filipino Americans of San Antonio (1st TOFSA) on 02 November 2019 in San Antonio, Texas.
The Awards were given by the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Texas (PACCTX) – Central Texas Region.
Philippine Consul General to Houston Jerril G. Santos congratulated the following six TOFSA awardees: The Honorable Mayor of San Antonio Ron Nirenberg, Executive Director of the Institute of Texan Cultures Angelica Docog, Dr. Anatolio B. Cruz, Academic Dean of Alamo Community Colleges Atty. Art B. Hall, Vice President & Associate Chief Nursing Officer of the University Health System Dr. Nelson Tuazon, and President of KARILAGAN Philippine Cultural Group, Inc. Evelyn B. Crow.
“These awardees have proven themselves worthy of being recognized and emulated by the Filipino American community as they excelled in their fields of endeavor and by their exemplary service to the community” Consul General Santos said.
Consul General Santos was accompanied by Consul Gilbert L. Segarra and Cultural Officer Mary Jane Mariano with Honorary Consul Ethel Mercado of Philippine Consulate in Dallas and Founding President of PACCTX. END
