OSLO 16 December 2019 – To highlight the Philippines as a must-see destination in Southeast Asia, the Philippine Embassy in Oslo in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT) presented the Philippines’ tourism destinations to Norwegian tour operators and travel agents on 08 November 2019.
The event was an opportunity for the Philippine and Norwegian tourism industry stakeholders to meet and discuss steps in bringing more Norwegian travelers to the Philippines.
Ambassador to Norway Jocelyn S. Batoon-Garcia encouraged the Norwegian tour operators and travel agents to look closely into the Philippines as an ideal tourist destination, not only because of its world-famous beaches, but also for its diverse and equally exciting year-round attractions in her remarks.
Filipino talents such as the Lahing Kayumanggi dancers from London, Spain-based Filipino flair bartender Dennis Barela, and Oslo-based Filipino singer Rheanne Lindeberg made the event more fun with their performances.
