PH Embassy in Jakarta, POLO Singapore Conduct Outreach Services in Medan

MEDAN 16 December 2019 — The Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, in collaboration with the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) Singapore, conducted labor briefing and consular outreach for around 60 Filipinos in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia, on 23 November 2019.

Resource speakers from POLO Singapore, Labor Attaché Saul T. De Vries, and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Administrative Staff Zara Rita P. Reyes discussed the guidelines on the registration of vacationing Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and programs and services of OWWA. 

Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Leehiong T. Wee, together with the rest of the Embassy team and representatives of POLO Singapore, joined the Filipino Community in the early Christmas celebration after the briefing and onsite services. END
