PH Embassy in Thailand Conducts Lecture on PH-Thailand Diplomatic Relations for Thai Students

BANGKOK 19 December 2019 – The Philippine Embassy in Bangkok, represented by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Juan Carlos C. Borromeo, conducted a lecture on the 70th Anniversary of Philippines-Thailand Diplomatic Relations at the request of students from Thammasat University who are participants of the Thammasat University ASEAN Delegation (TUAD).

TUAD is a short-term cultural exchange program which aims to strengthen relationships between the students of Thailand and ASEAN countries that gives them the opportunity to explore and understand other ASEAN Member countries, through knowledge sharing and cultural exchanges.

The Embassy delivered the said lecture in line with the students’ preparation for their upcoming visit to the Philippines from 13 to 19 January 2020.

The Philippines and Thailand are celebrating 70 years of diplomatic relations this year. END
