04 April 2014 – The Philippine Consulate General in Guangzhou celebrated the Women’s Month with a lecture/discussion on women’s health conducted by Guangzhou-based Filipino medical practitioner, Dr. John Mark G. Perez, MD on March 29.

Accordingly, he explained the various clinical examinations and screenings that different age groups should undergo. He also provided information on self-examination methods and gynecologic cancer symptoms that women need to ensure early detection of cancer. Consultation and discussion of health issues were raised by the participants during the lecture.
