PH Consul General Receives Phildel Head to RIMPAC 2020 Mid-Planning Conference

HONOLULU 16 January 2020 – Philippine Consul General to Honolulu Joselito A. Jimeno received Philippine Navy Captain Richard David, (GSC) Head of the Philippine Delegation to the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2020 Mid-Planning Conference currently being held in Honolulu. Philippine Navy Major Marvin T. Salvan, (M) accompanied Capt. David.
Captain David shared information on the upcoming preparations for RIMPAC 2020, which will be held from June to August 2020 in Hawaii. He will also lead the Philippine delegation during the final planning conference to be held in Honolulu in March 2020.
RIMPAC is the world's largest international maritime exercise, held every two years in Hawaii. It is hosted and administered by the United States Navy's Indo-Pacific Command, in conjunction with the Marine Corps, the Coast Guard, and Hawaii National Guard forces under the control of the Governor of Hawaii.
