SYDNEY 08 December 2019 –– The Philippine Consulate General in Sydney held the 2019 year-end get-together and meeting with Filipino Community Organizations’ leaders at the Consulate’s Bulwagang Rizal on 07 December 2019.
The gathering was attended by more than 50 leaders of various organizations, members of media, and representatives of Filipino International Students in New South Wales.
During the gathering, the Philippine Consulate and its two attached agencies, the Philippine Trade and Investment and Philippines Department of Tourism presented and provided the attendees with updates on their respective madnates, prjoects undertaken during the year, and upcoming projects and events.
The Consulate briefed and provided the guidelines on the upcoming overseas voting registration to be held from 16 December 2019 to 30 September 2021. It also briefed on the Philippine economy and projected the National Economic and Development Authority’s (NEDA) video presentation on “Ambisyon 2040”. END
