PH Consular General in Dubai Conducts Seminar on Agribusiness to OFWs

DUBAI 10 December 2019 — The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai’s participants in the  Seminar on Agribusiness and Investments learned the various business opportunities in agriculture, including the assistance that the Philippine government extends to start-up entrepreneurs who intend to venture into business in the agriculture industry. The seminar was held on 23 November 2019.

In addition, they also learned the ins and outs of investing, the importance of due diligence in business, and means of financing investment in agriculture.

The seminar is part of the year-long program of the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and its attached agencies which are Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC), Philippine Overseas Labor Office – Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (POLO-OWWA), Department of Agriculture (DA), Social Security System (SSS), Pagtututlungan sa Kinabukasan: Ikaw, Bangko, Industrial at Gobyerno (PAG-IBIG) to promote financial literacy among Filipinos in Dubai and Northern Emirates.
