PH Embassy in Turkey Conducts First-Ever Consular Mission in Izmir

ANKARA 15 December 2019 –– A team from the Philippine Embassy in Ankara, it served over 40 Filipinos in Izmir, Turkey marking its first-ever consular mission in the area. On its two-day consular outreach from 13 to 14 December 2019, the team rendered 30 ePassport services (26 passports renewed, two new applications and two passports released), 14 Embassy IDs (13 Embassy ID applications and one Embassy ID released), ten notarizations, four civil registrations (three Reports of Birth and one Report of Marriage).

The consular mission was also an opportunity for Philippine Ambassador Raul S. Hernandez to have a meeting with the newly established Filipino Community in Izmir (FCI) led by its President Nenita Clemente. END
