PH Embassy in Beijing Commences Continuing Overseas Voting Registration at Post

BEIJING 17 December 2019 –– The Philippine Embassy in Beijing commenced continuing registration activities for Overseas Voters (OV) within its jurisdiction towards the national elections on 09 May 2022.
The embassy was able to process the applications of seven OV registrants during the first day of the registration period, which shall cover 21 months, or will end on 30 September 2021.
On 15 December 2019, the Embassy hosted the year-end gathering of the Filipino community in Beijing. Led by Philippine Ambassador to Beijing Jose Santiago L. Sta. Romana, the Embassy personnel joined the members of the Filipino community (Filcom) in the festive and fun-filled occasion. During the event, the Embassy took the opportunity to announce the resumption of the continuing OV registration and to encourage all qualified Filcom members to register. END
