PH Embassy in Ottawa Brings Consular Services to Bermuda

OTTAWA 17 December 2019 –– Philippine Ambassador to Ottawa Petronila P. Garcia led the consular outreach mission conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa, together with the Philippine Overseas Labor Office – Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C., in Bermuda from 14 to 15 December 2019.
The outreach mission processed passport renewals, notarial and civil registration services, and processed application for reacquisition of their Philippine citizenship.
Consul General Alan Deniega gave a briefing on the consular services delivered by the Embassy, while Consul Jeffrey Salik conducted financial literacy and entrepreneurship seminars to Filipinos who availed of consular services.
Based on the Embassy’s latest estimate, there are approximately 2,000 Filipinos currently residing and working in Bermuda. END
