PH Consulate General in Dubai Visits Prime Group Headquarters, Welcomes Opening of Testing Laboratory in Clark City

DUBAI 22 January 2020 — Philippine Consul General to Dubai Paul Raymund Cortes visited the Prime Group and Geoscience Testing Laboratories (GTL) at Dubai Industrial City headquarters on 05 January 2020.

Prime Laboratories is MENA’s largest testing laboratory and has issued more than ten million quality compliance certificates and reports. The Prime Group is also an accredited Halal Testing Office that helps in the issuance of certifications for products coming from non-halal markets such as the Philippines. It has an office in Manila and will be opening a Biochemical Food Testing Laboratory in Clark, Pampanga on the first quarter of 2020.

Consul General Cortes with the Prime Board of Directors Salah Ameen, Abdulmajeed Malek, Mohamed Badri, Mary Jane Alvero-Al Mahdi, and Angeline Rivera, undertook a comprehensive tour of Prime’s laboratories which are capable of performing physical, mechanical, and chemical tests on construction materials such as soil, aggregate, concrete, cement, steel, asphalt and water, as well as environmental analysis, environmental monitoring, geotechnical investigations and microbiological tests on food, water, and air.

“Prime was beginning its presence in the Philippines through its microbiological testing laboratory on food in Clark, Pampanga and hoping to expand with setting up its laboratories on construction, road, and building materials,” Prime said. END
