PH Deputy Consul General to Los Angeles Briefs U.S. Army Reservists on PH at Sentro Rizal

LOS ANGELES 27 January 2020 – In line with the Sentro Rizal’s goal to promote the Philippines’ culture and language throughout the world, Deputy Consul General Ambrosio Brian F. Enciso III delivered a short briefing for the Bravo company of the 425th Civil Affairs Batallion of the United States Army Reservists at the Consulate General’s Conference Room on 10 January 2019. The company was led by Filipino-Americans Capt. Rolando Reyes and Sgt. 1st Class Walter Talens.
The Deputy Consul General’s discussion revolved around the Philippine history, culture, tourism, politics, and economy. He capped off his lecture with a “Build, Build, Build” video, featuring the ongoing infrastructure development program of the Duterte Administration.
Prior to the lecture, the company called on the Deputy Consul General Enciso III at the Consulate General’s Sentro Rizal, which houses Philippine symbols, arts, books, magazines and the like.
The conduct of said lecture was pursuant to Section 42 of Republic Act 10066 known as the National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009. END
