PH Turns Over the Chairmanship of the ASEAN Committee in Rome to Thailand

The ACR, composed of six ASEAN member countries which have Embassies based in Rome, namely, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, and Viet Nam, was chaired by the Philippines from July to December 2019.
Under the Philippines’ Chairmanship, the ACR conducted activities, such as the celebration of the 52nd Anniversary of the Founding of ASEAN on 08 August 2019, ACR Family Day on 07 September 2019, ACR participation in the 20th Edition of the Asiatica Film Festival in October 2019, ACR Bowling Tournament on 16 November 2019, ACR participation in the 10th Edition of the Festival della Diplomazia on 24 October 2019, ACR’s Working Mission to Viterbo on 05 November 2019 and ACR’s Visit to the Control Center of the Italian Civil Protection, among others.
