PH Consulate General in New York Participates in the New York Times Travel Trade Show 2020

NEW YORK 31 January 2020 –– The Philippine Consulate General in New York, in coordination with the Philippine Department of Tourism – New York (PDOT-NY) as the lead agency, participated in The New York Times (NYT) Travel Show 2020 on 24 to 26 January at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York.

The NYT Travel Show, regarded as the largest travel trade and consumer show in America, featured tourism industries worldwide. The Philippines joined to promote products and destinations, and disseminate tourism information about the beauty and wonders of the country. This year’s show attracted more than 35,000 visitors and around 700 exhibitors from more than 175 countries all over the world.

Philippine Consul General to New York Claro S. Cristobal, Tourism Attaché Francisco Lardizabal, representatives from Philippine Airlines, and other local travel agencies were present during the opening day of the trade show. The Consulate invited the Filipino-American community to visit the Philippine booth and likewise promoted the 2020 VIP Tour during the event.
