PH Embassy in Brasilia Holds Consular Outreach Services in Suriname

SURINAME 04 February 2020 — As part of its mandate to deliver outreach services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Embassy in Brazil provided consular services to Filipinos in Paramaribo, Suriname.

A total of 93 consular services was rendered, 82 of which were passport applications. There were also 39 overseas voter registrations and four overseas voting reactivations.

The consular outreach was held in the future site of the Philippine Consulate in Paramaribo. Incoming Honorary Consul in Paramaribo Egon Audhoe helped organized the consular outreach and took the opportunity during the outreach to introduce himself to the Filipino community. He assured the Filipinos that the consulate will be ready to assist them with their employment issues and requests for assistance. END
