The event was appreciated by the Indonesian community in Manado. The Indonesian offices also shared their excitement as they see the lantern display signaling not only the Christmas season but the 2021 Quincentennial Commemoration in the Philippines highlighting the first circumnavigation of the world, the victory of Mactan, and other related events.
After the lighting ceremony, the Philippine Consulate General in Manado team loudly and proudly sang the 2021 Quincentennial Commemoration theme song entitled, “Bagani”.
