PH Embassy in Manama Promotes Philippine Culture and Products at the “Bahrain For All, All For Bahrain 2020”

BAHRAIN 12 February 2020 — The Philippine Embassy in Manama participated in the Ninth edition of the “Bahrain for All, All for Bahrain” festival, an event showcasing the various cultures of expatriate communities in Bahrain, held from 06 to 07 February 2020 at the Bahrain Bay Development center.
The festival is an annual event under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain. It aims to foster harmony and good relations among locals and expatriate communities in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the theme for this year is “Leaving No One Behind”.
The festival started with a parade followed by cultural presentations from the different expatriate communities in Bahrain. Embassies in Bahrain and other community organizations were assigned a stall to display their products and promote tourism destinations in their countries. The Philippine Embassy stall featured Philippine handicrafts and food items originating from different regions in the Philippines.
For the cultural presentation, the Philippine School Bahrain Banyuhay Dance Troupe and PSB Choral performed folk dances and songs on the first night while the PHL Dance Crew and AIM Global Ati Atihan group performed on the second night. END
