PH Embassy in Rome Holds Consular Outreach in Cagliari

ROME 12 February 2020 — As part of its program to provide consular and other services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Embassy in Rome held a consular outreach mission from 08 to 09 February 2020 in Cagliari, Italy.
There are an estimated 1,728 Filipinos in Cagliari.
The Embassy consular team rendered a total of 461 services, including 255 passport applications, 11 Reports of Birth, one Report of Marriage, seven affidavits and four certificates. Three individuals also took their Oath of Allegiance to the Philippine Republic for retention of Philippine citizenship.
The Embassy’s partner agencies, Philippine Overseas Labor Office and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, rendered services to 100 and 80 clients, respectively.
The outreach mission, the Embassy’s first for the current year, was conducted in cooperation with the Philippine Honorary Consulate General in Cagliari, headed by Honorary Consul Danilo Cannas. END
