PH Ambassador to the Holy See Attends Global Finance Leaders Meeting

VATICAN 18 February 2020 – Philippine Ambassador to the Holy See Grace Relucio Princesa attended an event called by Pope Francis entitled “New Forms of Solidarity” at the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, Vatican on 05 February 2020 which was called by Pope Francis.
The meeting brought together architects of the global finance system to reduce rising inequality.
Pope Francis emphasized the necessity to prioritize the needs of the poor who are left behind by as he says the “globalization of indifference”.
Ambassador Princesa met with Pope Francis and the successor of Ms. Christine Lagarde as the new Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva. END
