PH Ambassador to Canada Meets Filipino Seed Scholars in Montreal

Sitoy (second from right), two Filipino scholars under the Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) Program, in Montreal on 22 February 2020.

Both scholars arrived in Montreal on 02 January 2020 and are researchers at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Mr. Catubis is doing research in Biology in relation to his background in Agriculture while Ms. Sitoy is researching modern data techniques in education. Both of them are members of the faculty of Cebu Technological University and will be returning to the Philippines when their scholarship ends in June of this year. Also in the photo is Consul Eric R.
