PH Embassy in Rome Holds Consular Outreach in Malta

ROME 27 February 2020 – As part of its program to provide consular and other services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Embassy in Rome held a consular outreach mission on 22-23 February 2020 in Floriana, Malta, where there are an estimated 4,278 Filipinos.

The Embassy consular team rendered a total of 900 services, including 368 passport applications, 28 Reports of Birth, 19 Reports of Marriage, one Report of Death, 23 affidavits and 12 certificates. Five individuals also took their Oath of Allegiance to the Philippine Republic for retention of Philippine citizenship. 

The Embassy’s partner agencies, Philippine Overseas Labor Office and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, rendered services to 100 and 90 clients, respectively. Social Security System attended to 132 clients while Pag-IBIG catered to 116 clients. END
