PH Tourism Office in New York Joins Outdoor Adventure Show in Mississauga, Ontario

TORONTO 02 March 2020 — The Philippine Department of Tourism Office (PDOT) in New York, joined the recently concluded Outdoor Adventure Show held at the International Centre, Mississauga (a part of the Greater Toronto Area), Ontario from 21-23 February 2020. 

The team from PDOT-New York was composed of Tourism Attaché Francisco Hilario M. Lardizabal and Senior Tourism Operations Officer Ms. Luz A. Navarro.

Consul General Orontes V. Castro and Deputy Consul General Edna May Grecia-Lazaro visited the Philippine booth on the first day of the show. Philippine Airlines (PAL) Area Manager Ms. Monette Trespeses also joined the Philippine booth to showcase the direct non-stop flights to Manila.

On the sidelines of the show, Consul General Castro and Tourism Attaché Lardizabal discussed the convergence of programs of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the DOT that aimed to increase the number of tourist arrivals from Canada. END
