PH Consul General to Chicago Graces Joy Dance Club Christmas Event

CHICAGO 26 December 2019 — Philippine Consul General to Chicago Gina A. Jamoralin joined the members of the Joy Dance Club at their Christmas Party held last 15 December 2019 at Elston Mix, Seafood City.

Consul General Jamoralin conveyed holiday greetings and thanked the club for its support and cooperation in the projects and programs of the Consulate during the last two years since she arrived in Chicago.  These projects included the First and Second  Paskuhan sa Chicago in 2018 and 2019, respectively, and the Consulate’s regular Saturday consular outreach in Seafood City. She also thanked the group’s president, Ms. Malou Tabo, and her officers for their active leadership of the group, whose Sunday dance gatherings at Seafood City allow Filipino-Americans of all ages to gather in an atmosphere of friendship, fun, and shared passion for dancing. 

Consul General Jamoralin acknowledged that she has great appreciation for dancing as an art and a sport, which is good for everyone regardless of age. She encouraged the organization to continue its work of bringing together Fil-Ams with a common love for the art. END
