PH Consulate General in Jeddah Conducts Consular Mission in Abha and Neighboring Areas

JEDDAH 02 January 2020 — The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah rendered Consular Mobile Services for Filipinos in the Southwestern City of Abha and neighboring areas in the Aseer region of Saudi Arabia on 19-21 December 2019.

In total, the consular team processed 509 passport applications, 73 notarials and authentication services, and 145 other consular services.

Representatives from the Philippine Overseas Labor Office, Office of the Social Welfare Attache, Pag-IBIG, and Social Security System joined the consular mission to offer their respective services. A separate team from the Consulate’s Assistance-to-Nationals Section replied to queries and requests for assistance from concerned Overseas filipino workers.

The consular mission ended on a successful note with the support and cooperation of members of the Filipino community in Abha led by Mr. Virgilio Crisostomo who works at King Khalid University. END
