15 April 2014 – The Philippine Embassy in Madrid conducted a consular outreach mission to the coastal town of San Pedro de Alcantara in the southern province of Malaga on March 29 and 30.

 

The six-person consular team, led by Second Secretary and Consul Susana L. Mendiola, processed a total of 340 transactions: 247 passport applications, 21 dual citizenship applications, 39 NBI clearance applications, and 33 miscellaneous services. The team also attended to consular queries and other assistance-to-nationals (ATN)-related matters.

 

There are an estimated 2,200 Filipinos living in the Autonomous Community of Andalucia, with some 1,500 of them living in the coastal towns of Malaga, Marbella and San Pedro de Alcantara. END
