PH Embassy Holds Consular Outreach, Overseas Voters Registration in Bermuda

OTTAWA 05 March 2020 — The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa conducted a consular outreach mission and registration of Filipinos in Bermuda for the 2022 National Elections on 01 March 2020 in Hamilton, Bermuda.
The outreach overseas registration was directed by Philippine Ambassador to Canada Petronila P. Garcia in order to ensure that Filipinos who have recently arrived in Bermuda, or will be reaching the age of majority on election day in 2022, are provided the opportunity to vote in the 2022 National Elections.
The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa, together with other Philippine foreign service missions, will continue to register Filipinos for overseas voting until 30 September 2021. All qualified overseas Filipino voters in Eastern Canada are encouraged to visit www.ottawape.dfa.gov.ph for the list of registration requirements and a schedule of consular outreach missions nearest their place of residence where they can register as voters for the 2022 National Elections.
