PH Embassy in Athens Holds Consular Outreach in Nicosia, Cyprus
ATHENS 06 March 2020 — The Philippine Embassy in Athens sent a consular team to conduct a Consular Outreach for Filipinos in Cyprus on 29 February and 01 March 2020 at The Classic Hotel in Nicosia, Cyprus.
During the two-day consular outreach, the Philippine Embassy’s consular team, led by Chargé d’ Affaires, a.i., Rosario P. Lemque processed 286 applications for passport renewal, one application for Lost Passport; one application for Travel Document, one application for Spoiled Passport, 12 applications for Affidavit (Jurat), three applications for Dual Citizenship under Republic Act No. 9225, 41 applications for Acknowledgment (Special Power of Attorney and Affidavits), five applications for Report of Marriage, four applications for Report of Birth, three applications for Certification; and four application forms for NBI clearance and fingerprinting.
The consular team also released the following documents: 328 passports; one Travel Document, nine Affidavits (Jurat), three Dual Citizenship documents, 41 Acknowledgments (Special Power of Attorney and Affidavits), five Reports of Marriage, four Reports of Birth, three Certifications, and four NBI clearances.
In addition to the consular services, Post also processed 139 applications for Overseas Voting (OV) registration, 55 applications for and updating of OWWA membership and 84 applications for updating of Pag-IBIG membership and applications for Modified Pag-IBIG II (MP2) Program. END
