PH Embassy in Tel Aviv Conducts 1st Consular, Labor Outreach Mission in Eilat After Two Years

TEL AVIV 06 March 2020 – The Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv successfully conducted its first consular and labor outreach mission after two years to Filipinos working and living in Eilat, on 21 February 2020 at the Saints Moses and Elijah Church in Eilat, Israel.
In his message, Philippine Ambassador to Israel Neal Imperial assured the Filipino community in Eilat that the Embassy will continue to provide regular consular and labor services in the area. He also updated the community on the upcoming arrival of Filipino workers in the Israeli hotel industry. Ambassador Imperial also introduced the newly-launched ‘‘Our Filipino Caregivers, Our Tourism Ambassadors” program highlighting the caregivers’ role in promoting their hometown and province as a tourism destination in Israel.
The Embassy team provided 207 consular and labor services with 48 passport renewal applications, 40 Embassy IDs, 14 Post-Arrival Orientation Seminar (PAOS) participants,13 notarial documents and civil registration, 25 Overseas Voting (OV) registration, 26 Overseas Workers Welfare Adminsitration (OWWA) membership applications, 41 Social Security System (SSS) verification and membership applications.
