PH Ambassador to Poland Calls On Polish Sejm Marshal

WARSAW 06 March 2020 – Philippine Ambassador to Poland Leah M. Basinang–Ruiz called on the Marshal (Speaker) of the Sejm (Lower House of the Parliament of Poland) Elżbieta Barbara Witek to discuss ways to foster more parliamentary exchanges and contacts between the Philippines and Poland 0n 25 February 2020.

Both sides stressed the need to intensify people-to-people links in the areas of trade, investment, tourism, culture and higher education. Ambassador Ruiz informed the Marshal that the Embassy will work to encourage contacts between the respective parliamentary friendship groups of the two countries. END
