Ballet Philippines to Participate in Filipino-American History Month Celebrations in Southern California

LOS ANGELES 10 March 2020 – In preparation for Ballet Philippines’ (BP) 50th Anniversary Concert Tour in Southern California, Philippine Consul General to Los Angeles Adelio Angelito S. Cruz met with Cultural Center of the Philippines Chair and former BP President Margarita Moran Floirendo, Executive Producer of BP’s shows in California J. Ted I. Benito, and BP’s Host Committee Chair in Los Angeles Rebecca Godinez-Miranda on 13 February 2020. 

Also present during the meeting was Tourism Attaché Richmond Patrick L. Jimenez.

BP’s 50th Anniversary U.S. Concert Tour is expected to give more color to the Filipino-American History Month celebrations in October and further enhance the country’s image and standing in the international community with its world-class and eclectic repertoire.

The group is slated to perform at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center and at the Spreckles Theatre (San Diego) on 03 and 07 October 2020, respectively. The public is enjoined to watch out for further announcements regarding tickets prices and ticket sales.  END
