PH Embassy in Amman Launches First Consular Mission in Aqaba

AMMAN 12 March 2020 – The Philippine Embassy in Amman, together with the Philippine Overseas Labor Office-Overseas Workers Welfares Administration (POLO­-OWWA) in Amman, launched on 08 March 2020 its first Consular Mission in Aqaba this year and provided services to almost 50 Filipinos and their families who are working and living in the Governorate.

The composite team also facilitated the registration of new overseas voters in time for the 2022 National Elections.

The Embassy intends to launch at least 10 missions in 2020 in various Governorates in Jordan, including major cities in Palestine which is under its consular jurisdiction. END
