10 April 2014 - Major General Benny M. Paulino, Adjutant General of the Guam National Guard (GUNG), accompanied by Col. David B. Riano and other GUNG officers visited the Philippine Consulate General in Guam on April 3.

The team briefed Consul General Bayani V. Mangibin on the progress of the State Partnership Program (SPP) between the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Guam National Guard. The purpose of the briefing was to provide a yearly review of the implementation of SPP and to update the Consulate General on the activities that GUNG had already completed for 2014. Six of the fifteen planned activities for 2014 were already accomplished, several of which involved training in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations (HADR). END
