16 April 2014 – The Philippine Embassy in Port Moresby undertook a consular outreach mission in Kokopo, East New Britain Province from March 7 to 10. The consular team was headed by Philippine Ambassador to Papua New Guinea Bienvenido V. Tejano and Consular Assistants Rhoderick B. Bodino and Dionisio R. Abrenica. The consular outreach mission was undertaken by the Embassy upon the request of the Filipino community in Kokopo.

A total of forty (40) passport applicants, two (2) reports of birth, and one (1) passport renewal were received and processed. The team also fielded queries on consular matters from the Filipino community. END
