PH Consulate General in Agana Conducts 1st Consular Outreach Mission in Saipan

AGANA 17 March 2020 – A consular team from the Philippine Consulate General in Agana processed a total of 631 consular transactions during its first consular outreach mission for 2020 in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) from 29 February to 03 March 2020.
The consular outreach processed 593 ePassport renewals, exceeding the team’s initial target of 560 applicants. In addition, 17 petitioners for reacquisition of Filipino citizenship submitted their requirements, with 15 of them taking their oath of allegiance on the last day of the mission. A total of 11 civil registration reports comprising of nine reports of birth and two reports of marriage were likewise processed
A total of 587 overseas voter registrants were processed by the designated Voter Registration Machine (VRM) Operator Ferdinand E. Villamor which was more than 130 percent above the estimated target of 450 overseas voter registrants.
The consular team was headed by Philippine Consul General to Agana Mark Francis C. Hamoy and composed of Passport Processors Jermyn Julius R. Checa and Fritz Gerald A. Fernandez, Consular Assistant Annabelle M. Oviedo-Lavarez, and Collecting Officer Ellen P. Morco. END
