ASEAN Ambassadors to Norway Meet Norwegian Delegation to Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership

OSLO 16 January 2020 — . Philippine Ambassador to Norway Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia joined the dinner hosted by the permanent delegation of the Norwegian Parliament to the Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership (ASEP) for the Heads of Mission of ASEAN embassies accredited to Norway on 28 November 2019.

The dinner provided an opportunity for the ASEP and the ASEAN Committee in Oslo – the resident Ambassadors of Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam in Norway – as well as the non-resident ambassador of Cambodia to Norway based in London, to touch base and exchange ideas on interparliamentary cooperation between ASEAN and Norway.

The ASEP is a forum that brings together parliamentarians from member states of the Asia-Europe Meeting as well as from the European Parliament for annual meetings to discuss issues of common concern. END
