Mr. Weissler, who celebrated his 90th birthday on 13 December, donated copies of his published memoir entitled “My Life Story and Memories”. The book recalls Mr. Weissler’s journey as he and his parents fled the Nazi occupation in Denmark during the late 1930s and found sanctuary in the Philippines through President Manuel L. Quezon’s Open Door policy. The book also recalled his growing up years in Manila and journey leading to his current life in Israel. The book will be part of the exhibition featured at the Balai Quezon. (Tel Aviv PE photo)
