PH Consulate General in Agana Completes Last Consular Outreach Mission For 2019

AGANA 17 December 2019 — The Philippine Consulate General in Agana (Guam) completed its last consular outreach mission for 2019 with a back-to-back sortie to Rota and Saipan from 30 November to 5 December 2019.
The two-day mission in Rota on 30 November and 01 December resulted in the delivery of a total of 92 consular transactions, composed of 78 passport renewals, three reports of birth, six legalization services, and five dual citizenship petitions.
The consular team, headed by Consul to Agana Mark Francis C. Hamoy, also met with the new officers of the Filipino community of Rota, led by its President, Ms. Jesusa Calvo.
On 02 December, the team flew on the small aircraft plying the route between Rota and Saipan to continue with the second leg of its outreach in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
The three-day leg in Saipan enabled the consular team from Guam to process a total of 491 consular transactions that covered 454 passport services, 12 civil registry services, 15 legalization services, and 10 dual citizenship petitions.
The consular mission in Saipan was held from 03 to 05 December 2019 at one of the function rooms of the Sun Palace Hotel in Susupe.
Once again, the Philippine Consulate General in Agana, Guam reminds all Filipinos living and working within its consular jurisdiction in the Western Pacific to ensure that their ePassports have sufficient validity at least equivalent to or longer than the typical authorized period of stay issued by the relevant government agencies in their place of work of residence.
